Our Research Objectives

PearLab = Parallel and Embedded Architecture Research Laboratory (Yokota-Ootsu Lab.) is conducting reseach, in order to create technologies for realizing high-performance computing systems and their design technologies, from various aspects, especially the two subjects:

High-performance System by Parallel and Distributed Processing Architecture

Short-term System Construction by System Design Automation

High-performance computing systems and their design technologies are evolving by supporting each other. Especially, in recent years, due to the saturation in the clock-speed increase of Semiconductor LSI and micro-processor, a breakthrough is demanded in the field of parallel and distributed architecture and its supporting design technology (development environment for parallel and distributed application).

Our laboratory aims to create technologies for the problems of the performance improvement and the reduction in the power consumptions of computing systems in various fields by parallel and distributed architecture.
