Computer aided diagnosis in digital pathology


  • A pathologist is a doctor who specializes in interpreting laboratory tests and evaluating cells, tissues, and organs to diagnose disease. The digitizing of glass pathology slides can make the diagnostic process much faster and easier for cancer patients. We study a multispectral imaging and quantification of pathological tissues for computer aided diagnosis.

Tissue classification by spectral information

  • We propose a spectral-based classification for pathological images, and achieve a higher classification performance than using RGB images.

Multispectral filter array suitable for pathological tissues
